K-drama fans have been feasting lately with a fresh wave of buzzy releases, from When Life Gives You Tangerines and Undercover High School to Hyper Knife and My Dearest Nemesis. IU and Park Bo Gum’s romantic drama When Life Gives You Tangerines even stole the spotlight at the 2025 Baeksang Arts Awards nominations, bagging eight nods including Best Drama and acting nominations for both leads.

But when it comes to South Korea’s Brand Reputation Rankings for April 2025, another drama has stolen the crown.

According to Soompi, SBS’s Buried Hearts ranked No. 1 this month, as per data from the Korean Business Research Institute. The intense romance-revenge thriller earned a whopping brand reputation index of 8,149,590, securing the top spot thanks to powerful keywords like “Park Hyung Sik,” “Heo Joon Ho,” and “love triangle.” Related terms that stood out include “surpass,” “passionate acting,” and “record,” while the drama achieved an impressive 92.74% positivity rating.

For those not yet hooked, Buried Hearts stars Park Hyung Sik, Heo Joon Ho, Lee Hae Young, and Hong Hwa Yeon. The drama quickly caught fire in South Korea, breaking into double-digit ratings by episode 4. Its 14th episode recently aired to a strong 14.6% average nationwide rating, according to Nielsen Korea. Fans are now eagerly counting down to the final two episodes, airing April 11 and 12.

Right behind Buried Hearts in the rankings is Lee Je Hoon’s The Art of Negotiation, followed by Undercover High School with Seo Kang Joon. Cinderella Game and When Life Gives You Tangerines round out the Top 5.
